Do you struggle with unwanted symptoms?
We can be so stuck it feels like there is no possible way out
Feeling unworthy, unlovable, or ashamed?
When we struggle with shame or fear it can feel like a trap, often leading us into isolation. The lie is that we are alone and no one sees us. But, the truth tells us something different- Christ sees everything and He loves us anyways. When we feel ashamed or unlovable it is often rooted in past experiences that we were not able to fully process leaving us in with internal emotional disregulation (disintegrated parts). This can lead to emotional pain and possible disturbances or inabilities. If we have no where safe to land those feelings, the protective mechanism is to supress them.
Struggling with addictions, disordered desires & behaviors?
Our outward symptoms have roots that go deeper than we often realize- it’s how the body protects itself from pain. Do you struggle with disordered desires or behaviors? Substance and sexual addictions can make us feel trapped in a cycle of fear and shame, often leaving us feeling powerless. This can have a negative impact on our emotional and spiritual well-being, especially on our relationships with those we share a life with.
